“I’ve done some bad things in my life, but after I saw you, I want to change for the better.”
Aiden is a human in New York City that makes a living by dealing and doing heroin. His father was a firefighter who was killed on September 11, 2001 and his mother was a former cocaine user herself. However, once his father died, she became depressed and relapsed into her addiction, eventually overdosing herself purposely when Aiden was seventeen.
When his mother passed away, Aiden became depressed and started using heroin and soon became an addict like his mother. In order to make ends meet, he’s begun to deal heroin and other drugs. He’s been put into jail on petty charges and has gone into rehab many times. However, he always relapses into his addiction and ends up back in rehab. Aiden desperately wants to give up heroin for good, but he figures he’s beyond the point of getting clean, and is waiting for the day he ends up like his mother.
While he was at his usual rehab clinic, he saw the new nurse, Angelus, taking care of another patient. In the instant he saw her, he knew that she was the one. However, he knew that there wasn’t a chance of him being with her unless he really started changing. He decides that he would stay clean for one month before he would talk to her.
Once he’s met his “quota”, Aiden begins to talk to Angelus. She doesn’t really like him, but he knows he just has to work at staying clean. The clinic, however, sees him as changed and releases him into a halfway house. A couple months go by and he doesn’t see Angelus around the city, so he decides to relapse a little so he can get readmitted to the clinic. As soon as he was able to talk to Angelus, he cleaned up again. However, Angelus wanted nothing to do with him, so she repeatedly told him to leave her alone.
When he was put out of treatment again for being considered “clean”, he wanted to get his next fix as soon as he could, so he found a heroin dealer down the street from the clinic. Aiden needed to pay the dealer back from the last time he got heroin. When he didn’t have the money, the dealer and his men began to beat him up.
Angelus was walking by them when she heard Aiden’s cries for help. She ran over to defend him as best as she could. By doing so, she was getting beaten herself. For her defense and Aiden’s, she used her powers of gravity push them away and into a wall, without using her hands.
Aiden became the only person since Angelus’ exile to know of her true nature and reason for being on Earth. She’s allowed him to live with her so that he can remain clean, and while he will be working hard on that, Aiden will be working harder to win her over.

I really like how this picture came out! He looks so… sad and depressed, like I wanted
I really, really want to tie in 9/11 with him because it was such a significant part of NYC. I’m thinking that Angelus was able to save him on that day, by pulling him towards her and then running behind a car. But I think that Aiden would not have gotten a good look at her face. Huh :/

I have to say, though...if you're going to use someone else's work as a reference, you need to mention as such in your notes. I promise this isn't an attack against you, but it's something you need to be aware of. I'm sure :devjisuk: would appreciate you giving him credit for this exact pose you referenced from his deviation "one".
Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against practicing using other artists works. I actually used to trace Sailor Moon when I was a little girl, but you can't do that on this site without giving credit. For one; it's considered inconsiderate, for two; there are copyright restrictions you need to adhere to as well. I'm not going to report you because I don't believe you meant any harm with this, but you need to link to the original picture and/or artist.
Still, keep practicing! I'd actually suggest attempting to draw from real life. It's a great way to expand on your skills. ^.^
